Celebrate International Women's Day with The Curve Slough

Experience fascinating talks and learn about inspirational women in Slough.
On Friday, March 9 from 7.30pm to celebrate International Women's Day, The Curve is holding a night of engaging talk about influential women.
International Women's Night is set to be a fantastic evening of poetry, discussion and theatre, featuring established female artists.
Award-winning poet Lesley Saunders and Empowered alum Bananasharma will both pay a visit, while the night's speakers will be introduced by the incredible TEDx talker, Des'ree, who is also treating the audience to her spoken word poetry.
This will be followed by a scratch performance of There are Secrets, Dear Sister - a piece developed by Slough artists Anna Jones and Nisha Anil.
There Are Secrets, Dear Sister takes its inspiration from women in Slough now and throughout history who have fought for change and equality.
