A Leicestershire man who shared 27 performances on social media throughout March has raised over £1,200 for a lymphoma research charity.
Andrew Lock shared songs over 27 days to raise funds for Lymphoma Action - the only charity in the UK dedicated to fighting the cancer.
His tribute aimed to highlight that every 27 minutes, someone is diagnosed with lymphoma, the UK's fifth most common cancer.
Last year, Andrew was one of those people.
Andrew said: "I found a lump, went to my GP and was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, a high-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
"It was a shock and then began the tests, scans, staging, treatment plan, tears, worry and all the other things that come with the rollercoaster that is cancer."
Recently, Andrew received the news he had been waiting to hear.
He said: "Last month, I completed my treatment, and my recent scan shows no sign of cancer!
"It is such a huge relief - I am humbled and so very grateful to everyone for their care and support.
"That's why I decided to post 27 songs over 27 days on social media and raise awareness of the great work that Lymphoma Action do in supporting people affected by lymphoma."
Andrew emphasised the importance of checking any odd lumps and bumps as soon as possible.
He stressed that people should ensure they do regular self-checks and see a doctor if they have any concerns.
Sarah Thorn, Community and Partnerships Manager at Lymphoma Action, said: "We want to say a huge well done to Andrew.
"Not only has he raised valuable funds but also entertained and spread some much-needed joy!
"Thank you for raising such a fantastic amount to support our work. In the UK, someone is diagnosed with lymphoma every 27 minutes, making it the most common blood cancer.
"Through funds raised by people like Andrew, we can continue making sure that no one has to face lymphoma alone."
