Leicestershire traffic: A round-up of TTROs

The following temporary traffic regulation orders have recently been announced:

Ravenstone Road, Heather

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Severn Trent Water to safely facilitate infrastructure replacement. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of three days commencing on October 18.

Ashby Bypass, Ashby de la Zouch

Temporary speed restrictions are required on Ashby Bypass between Discovery Way and the Ashby Road Boundary roundabout from September 6 for five nights, between 20.00 and 06.00 each night.

These works require the use of temporary traffic signals in conjunction with convoy vehicles to protect the work force. There will also be lane restrictions on approaches to the Ashby Road and Smisby Road roundabouts.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate white lining, marking and road stud replacement.

Repton Road, Measham

A road closure is required on Repton Road outside the entrance to AB Produce on September 9 for one day.

Access will be maintained to affected businesses, but there may be delays whilst the site is made safe in order for vehicles to pass.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching.

Marston Road, Lubenham

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council and associated contractors to facilitate highway improvement - including the widening of the eastern layby exit.

The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure and two-way traffic lights. The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of two days commencing on September 6.

Balmoral Road, Mountsorrel

A temporary road closure is required on Balmoral Road from September 6 for five days. The road will be closed between the junction of Dunster Road and the junction of Cromwell Road.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Cadent Gas to safely undertake new gas connection works.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Dunster Road, Cromwell Road and vice versa.

North Lane, Foxton

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow MAE Building and Construction Ltd to undertake drainage works. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 12 days commencing on September 6.

Moorbarns Lane, Lutterworth

A road closure is required on Moorbarns Lane, Lutterworth on September 5 for one day.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate a new water connection.

Macauly Road, Rothley

A temporary road closure is required on Macauley Road from September 7 for three days. The road will be closed between the junction of Babington Road and the junction of Woodfield Road.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water Limited to undertake pipe works in the carriageway.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Babington Road, Woodfield Road and vice versa.

Footpath U29, Barwell

A footpath closure is required on Footpath U29, Barwell between the junction with Moore Road and Queensway on September 15 for one day.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate footpath patching and any other associated work to the highway.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Moore Road, Newlands Road and vice versa.

Stapleton Lane, Dadlington

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow BT Openreach and their contractors to undertake pole testing. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of one day commencing on November 3.

Main Street, Markfield

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow STW and their contractors to undertake repairs to their apparatus and the highway. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of one day commencing on October 10. The work will be carried out on a Sunday to try and minimise disruption.

Bridleway BOTAT B30, Tugby

A road closure is required on Bridleway BOTAT B30, Tugby on September 6 for two days, between 08.00-15.00.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.

Reservoir Road, Cropston

A temporary road closure is required on Reservoir Road on September 13 for one day, 09.00 till 15.00. The road will be closed between the junction of Station Road to the junction of Roecliffe Road.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching works.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Station Road, Bradgate Road and vice versa.

The Drive, Woodhouse Eaves

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Severn Trent Water to safely undertake works to repair the sewer drain. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of seven days commencing on November 3.

Brook Street, Sileby

A temporary road closure is required on Brook Street from September 8 for four nights, 21.30 till 05.30 each night. The road will be closed either side of the Railway Bridge.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Network Rail to undertake bridge maintenance works.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Ratcliffe Road, A46, A607 Syston Road, Main Street (Cossington), Cossington Road (Sileby) and vice versa.

Leicester Road, Quorn

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to safely undertake gully and drainage works.

The TTRO will incorporate temporary parking bay suspensions and temporary prohibition of waiting and loading at any time restrictions.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of two days commencing on September 27.

Main Street, Markfield

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate urgent carriageway patching and any other associated work to the highway.

The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure and temporary parking restrictions.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of one day commencing on October 3.

Atherstone Road and Fenn Lanes, Fenny Drayton

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate patching works and any other associated work to the highway. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of two nights commencing on September 25 from 20.00 - 06.00.
