Llanelli Friendship Theatre Group returning to stage for first time in two years
After being unable to perform during the Covid-19 pandemic, the stage is set for a production of Peter Pan
Llanelli's Friendship Theatre Group is getting ready to to tread the boards again after a break of tw0 years.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the group has been unable to put on productions, but all that is about to change as it gears up to bring its pantomime of Peter Pan to the town's Ffwrnes Theatre between Thursday, January 12 and Sunday, January 29.
Originally set to be staged in January 2021, the run of dates was delayed until January 2022 and subsequently to this month.
The group said it is definitely a case of "third time lucky for Peter Pan!"
Posting on its Facebook page, the group said: "We are extremely excited to finally be performing this spectacular show, having had our January 2021 and January 2022 performances cancelled due to the pandemic.
"So here we are, it’s third time lucky, and this time we’re going to make sure it’s the biggest and best show you’ve ever seen.
"Join us on our very first fairy tale ride to Neverland as Peter Pan tries to outwit his arch-enemy Captain Hook in this swashbuckling pantomime adventure."
