Learn how to fish at a free event in Bracknell.

The Spring into Fishing event, run by the Angling Trust and funded by the Environment Agency, will be happening on Saturday, March 10 from 10am to 2pm.

The event is free, fun and friendly, perfect for families of all ages and will be held at Jeans Pond at Braybrooke Recreation Ground in Makepiece Road, Bracknell, Berkshire.

The sessions are for all ages and experience levels, even complete beginners. Parents and grandparents can also get involved with the fishing.

The friendly volunteers at the event will provide participants with free tackle, bait and instruction.

There is also information provided on the day about clubs and places to go fishing in the future.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
