Man denies attempted sexual assault in Bracknell town centre

A man has denied an attempted sexual assault after an incident in Bracknell town centre.

Mark Goddard, 57, of Wayland Close, Harmans Water, was charged after allegedly touching a girl inappropriately in The Lexicon on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

The victim of the alleged assault, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was 16 years old.

Goddard denied the charge during an appearance at Reading Crown Court in Reading, Berkshire on Monday, February 19.

He has been released on conditional bail.

He is due to appear at the same court for trial on Monday, June 11.

He was arrested and charged by Thames Valley Police after an incident at the shopping centre in Bracknell.

He appeared before Slough Magistrates' Court on January 23 before the case was committed to crown court.
