Man cut free from car after crash involving lorry in Reading

A man was taken cut free and taken to hospital after a crash between a lorry and a car in Reading.
Fire crews were called to the incident in Pingewood Road South in Reading, Berkshire, at around 11am on Tuesday, January 30.
A man in his mid-twenties was trapped in the Nissan Micra, and crews from Whitley Wood and Wokimgham Road had to use their cutting equipment to free him.
The crews removed the driver's door of the car and were able to remove the man.
The Thames Valley Air Ambulance was called to the incident, but the man was eventually taken to hospital by land ambulance.
Details of his injuries are not yet known.
The driver of the lorry was not hurt in the incident.
