Northop band who competed in the Eisteddfod in August 1971

This week we look at some nostalgic photos of a musical nature.

Gwynedd Punk band Yr Anrhefn (The Disorder) pictured in the late 1980s. The band found that it received little support from Radio Cymru and S4C, but was championed by John Peel. 
Iona Roberts of Conwy, now half of the duo Iona and Andy, had won third prize in the pop solo competition at an eisteddfod in 1973.
Mr John Stone, head of music at Flint High School goes over the music with the members of his group who were taking part in the instrumental competition under 19 years of age at Eisteddfod. 31 May 1980
Miriam Roberts (left) and her sister Florence, were part of an ensemble of four singers and three harpists, including the legendary Nansi Richards, which brought Welsh culture to places as diverse as Llannerchymedd and London, during the 1930s. At the same time Miriam was also station master at Beddgelert.
