Michelin-starred chef links up with Salcombe distillery

SALCOMBE Gin has linked up with  Michelin-starred Padstow chef Paul Ainsworth to launch ‘Daring’, the  seventh limited-edition release in its Voyager Series.

The limited release of 10,000 bottles is inspired by the chef’s ‘A Tale of Porthilly’ oyster dish.

It is distilled with whey and foraged Cornish botanicals, and also combines fennel, apple and lime.

Angus Lugsdin, co-founder of Salcombe  Distilling Co, said: “With our shared love of the South West and the  rich abundance of flavours the region has to offer, it has been a  privilege to work with Paul and his team to create this unique gin.”
