A local dance school will be flying out to New York City to take part in a Broadway workshop.
Jayne Barnes School of Dance - which is based in Middleton, Greater Manchester - will be going to America in April.
As well as taking part in the workshop, they will be the opening and closing act for a show that includes dance schools from across New York City.
Their opening number includes ‘Don't Look Back in Anger’ and will be dedicated to the victims and families of the Manchester arena attack.
Rachel Barnes, teacher and choreographer, said: "We have been rehearsing and putting so many hours in.
"We go in April and it will be the trip of a lifetime."
The trip was originally planned two years ago but was put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jayne Barnes School of Dance will be taking part in a workshop hosted by The Joffrey Ballet, which is considered one of the premier companies performing today.
The dance school, which has been going for over 35 years, will be taking 16 dancers to America.

They also complete charity work and will be holding a performance in aid of Dr Kershaw's Hospice on Saturday, February 19.
This will take place at Mills Hill Community Hall in Oldham from 2pm.
Rachel said: "We love to perform but shows like this are extra special.
"It holds a special place in our heart and means so much more to us to know the proceeds will be going to the hospice and can make a difference."
