CHEERS: Welshman Derek Southerton touches glasses over the border with Englishman Tony King in the lounge of the Lion Hotel, Llanymynech. November 10, 1968. The boundary between Montgomeryshire and Shropshire runs through the pub, sefore the 1968 referendum on Sunday opening, only the English half of the pub was allowed to serve drinks on Sunday.
