Musical groups join forces for concert
Macclesfield Singers and Macclesfield Symphony Orchestra will perform Haydn's Creation
TWO musical groups will come together for a performance of Haydn's Creation.
The concert, featuring Macclesfield Singers and Macclesfield Symphony Orchestra, takes place at St Michael's Church, on the Market Place, Cheshire.
It will be held on Saturday, March 26, from 7.30pm and also feature soloists Pippa Goss, soprano, Cillian Donaghy, tenor, and Patrick Osbourne, bass.
Moira Taylor, from Macclesfield Singers, said: "The Creation is very exciting to sing and interesting for the audience too as it tells a story and is also in English."
Rehearsals for the concert began in January.
Tickets for the performance are on sale at Macclesfield Visitor Information Centre, Margin Music and at kems.yapsody.com priced at £12 or £2.50 for under 18.
