OLD SCHOOL: A Tudweiliog school picture of 1920.
WHISKY GALORE: The barque Stuart ran aground in Porth Ty Mawr on April 6, 1901. The cargo included porcelain, pianos, cotton bales and whisky. As can be imagined, scenes followed that are reminiscent of the 1949 Ealing Comedy film Whisky Galore! The cove is now commonly referred to as Porth Whisgi, as a result of that incident
