New bedrooms revealed at Bel and The Dragon in Reading

Fans of the delicious grub available at Bel & The Dragon in Reading can now make more of a meal out of their trip.

The restaurant at Blakes Lock has added five new rooms, with 13 more being added in other venues across the area.

Two premium double rooms, two doubles and one single room have been lovingly decorated with traditional furniture and bright pops of colour, and have been named after locks along the River Kennet and River Thames..

Guests in Reading, Berkshire will be able to stay in the Fobney, County, Burghfield, Southcote or Blakes.

The rooms at the restaurant in Gas Works Road have been designed by Harding and Read, based in London.

This won't be the only location being made into a inn, with expansions also set to take place at Bel & Dragon in Cookham and Windsor too.

Hector Ross, chief of operations for the brand, said: "It's fantastic to see our new bedrooms creating an added dimension to our much-loved country inns and we'll be delighted to offer rooms at each of our six sites by the end of the year.

"We have a huge demand for accommodation across the group so we expect these developments to really boost business and revenue."

Bookings are already being accepted for rooms in Cookham, with bookings soon opening for Reading.
