New glass house bar set to open at fine dining restaurant in Barlaston

A fine dining Indian restaurant is expanding by opening a glass house extension.

Blanc NRI, based on the A34 in Barlaston, opened in 2018 on the site of the former Bengal Lodge after a £350,000 refurbishment.

Now the 80-cover restaurant, which serves traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine in a luxurious setting, is proud to announce it will be opening its extension on Wednesday, March 16 2022.

Opening their doors at 5pm, the public are invited to celebrate the occasion and experience Blanc’s relaxing bar atmosphere with its contemporary designed seating areas and high-powered heaters to keep customers feeling snug and cosy.

It also features a state of the art electric retractable roof, perfect for the summer months.

The grand opening brings a fresh specialty cocktail menu with an array of tasty Indian bites, alongside various entertainment set to appear in the summer months - consisting of two belly dancers, two fire breathers and sheesha pipes.

For the launch evening, entertainment will start at 6pm and customers will be charged a £5 entry fee.

Its expansion aims to bring a unique experience for customers to relish in, enlightening the hearts of locals.

Businessman and owner Husban Ahmed said: “We want to put the love back into Staffordshire.

“This will be a great investment for the area, bringing something new and exciting for diners to enjoy.

“We have many talented, experienced staff here who aim to provide quality service each and every day. The new Glass House extension will only showcase this passion further.”

Mr Ahmed also owns the award winning James Dahl Indian restaurant in Birmingham, aiming to bring city bar lifestyles to Staffordshire and emphasises his knowledge on current trends in hospitality.
