There is a Data Protection event for churches in the local area in Newbury,
Newbury churches are being given the chance to learn about new data protection laws.
The event will go over what different legal terms mean, as well as what data parishes should and do hold and the reasons why they hold that information.
The session at St George's Church, Andover Road in Newbury, Berkshire will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday, February 20.
It will be a practical session working with the guidance published by the Church of England on the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to help church groups understand it and adapt it for use in their parish.
