Parents and carers who are supporting autistic people are invited to have fun and relax at a carers party.

The A World UK CIC are hosting the event at The Bolton Whites Hotel, Bolton in Greater Manchester.

People are being given the chance to enjoy an evening away from home and connect with others in the same situation.

The A World UK CIC is a north west non-profit Community Interest Company.

They raise money through community shops in the north of England, which is invested to provide activities and family holidays for people with autism.

The carers party will take place on Saturday, June 4 at 7pm.

Brad Thorpe, managing director at The A World UK, said: "Our aim has always been to be an advocate for autism and we are continuously thinking of ways we can expand our services.

"That’s why we are really excited to be able to provide these fantastic experiences for parent and carers who are supporting those with autism.

"We believe that the change of scenery and break from everyday life is a great way for parents and carers to recharge."

The evening will involve live entertainment, music, food and drinks.

Tickets cost £10 per person.
