Over Dry January? Take advantage of the Wetherspoon January sale

Already given up on Dry January? Thankfully Wetherspoon has a cure for that.

The budget bar brand has launched its January sale with Berkshire 'spoons offering money off both alcoholic and soft drinks.

The deal includes:

  • Real ale: Sharp's Doom Bar
  • Craft beer: Shipyard
  • Lager: Coors Light
  • Ciders: Strongbow Dark Fruit and Magners
  • Stout: Guinness
  • Wine: Coldwater Creek (red, white and rose) and some others
  • Spirits: Gordon's gin, Smirnoff vodka, Bacardi rum (inclusive of a mixer)
  • Soft Drinks: Sanpellegrino, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer as well as Lavazza coffee refills.

The Hope Tap in Friar Street and The Back of Beyond, both in Reading, Berkshire, Baron Cadogan in Prospect Street, Caversham, Berkshire, The Gig House in The Plaza, Wokingham, Berkshire and The Old Manor in Grenville Place, Bracknell, Berkshire are all taking part.

Bracknell manager Ian Lynskey said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.

"The range of drinks on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes. "As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly."

Wetherspoon is also reducing the price of rooms at its hotels during the sale period with all rooms priced from £49 per night until Wednesday, January 17.

The hotels include The Cathrine Wheel Hotel in Henley, Oxfordshire and the Hatchet Inn in Newbury, Berkshire.
