Paramedics treat smoke victim after Paignton chip pan fire
A spokesman said all of the ground floor of the property was damaged by smoke
A person has been treated for the effects of smoke inhalation following a chip pan fire in Paignton, Devon.
The alarm was raised just after 6.45pm on October 26 following reports of a property on fire on in Mulberry Close.
Three fire engines were were sent to the scene - including two from Paignton and one from Torquay fire station.
Firefighters put out the blaze in the kitchen of the house.
A spokesman said all of the ground floor of the property was damaged by smoke and the kitchen sustained 30% damage by fire.
One person was treated by ambulance paramedics for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
