Miss Doris Ahearne retired after 46 years’ work at Lower Mill.
Farewell presentations at Alder Grange CS School to headmaster Mr A T Grocott
Mr Vincent Wogden retired after 52 years at Lovelclough Printworks.
Mr Arthur Bainbridge retired as handicraft teacher at Blackthorn CS School in Bacup and received the gift of a radio.
It is not known when the pictures were taken.
