Posies brighten the day at South Ayrshire flower club
Members got to work creating colourful posies
Girvan & District Flower Club’s first meeting of 2023 took the form of a posy workshop given by Fiona Wilson, formerly of Fiofin Designs, Girvan.
Following Fiona’s instruction and advice, everyone got set creating beautiful colourful posies, living up to the title Fiona had chosen for her workshop- ‘A Cheerful Posy to Brighten up a Winters Day’.
The fun will continue on Wednesday, February 22 at the club’s Friends & Family Night when they welcome back local artist David Powell.
David’s willow sculptures are admired near and far and this is an opportunity to see his work up close and maybe have a hands on experience.
This is also the club’s dedicated charity night so any donations for raffle prizes would be appreciated.
