Preparations underway for Carmarthen Fireworks Bonanza

The Carmarthen Fireworks Bonanza makes a full blown return next month.

Taking place at the town park in Morfa Lane on Saturday, November 5, the event will be the first fireworks display in the town with no Covid-19 restrictions.

Last year's event required Covid passes or negative lateral flow tests for adults, but with the lifting of all restrictions in the UK earlier this year, the event promises to be a huge return to form with a capacity crowd expected to pack the park.

Carmarthen Round Table chairman Dr Marc Ingram said: "We are happy to announce that the Carmarthen Fireworks Bonanza is back for 2022.

"We are particularly proud that this year we are holding the entry price the same as last year at £5, or a group ticket of 5 at £20.

"Also we are doing away with the printed program to save paper and putting all adverts on our jumbo screen in the park.

"All profits made on the night are donated back to the community, such as  local charities, sports team, people in need.

"We can’t wait to host a fantastic fireworks night for everyone in Carmarthen."

Any potential sponsors can contact the Carmarthen Round Table on email at carmarthen@roundtable.org.uk

This will be the 52nd year of Carmarthen Round Table organising a fireworks display in Carmarthen.

The park gates will open at 4.30pm with the children's fireworks display starting at 7pm, followed by the main display at 8pm.

There will be hot food and drink stalls, sweets stands, a fun fair and music.
