Actors from Wokingham Theatre will be putting on their own performance of Doubt: The Parable.
The play written by John Patrick Shanley in 2004 won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play in the same year.
Since its publication the play has also been made into an academy award-nominated film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep.
The story, which is originally set in a fictional St. Nicholas Church School in the Bronx, will be performed in Wokingham from Thursday, January 25 until Saturday, February 3.
Sophie Pierce director of the play said: "The brilliance of this play is that characters are utterly convincing in their conviction, but not everyone can be right, so you have to choose what you believe to be true.
"I think this is one of those stories of flawed humanity that many of us will recognise, which stays with you long after you have left the theatre and I can’t wait to share it with our audiences."
