Pupils in Banwell get creative for local art competition

Children in Banwell have taken part in a competition which was designed to put their imaginations to the test.

Pupils from Banwell Primary School were invited to take part in a 'Design Your Dream Home' competition, where they were asked to think about everything that makes a great home.

The competition was held by local housebuilding company, which made the competition rather fit, as well as fun for the students!

After the judging process, the three winners were announced during a school assembly and were presented with gift vouchers.

Claire Pocock headteacher of of the school in Banwell, Somerset said: "The children loved this competition!

"It gave them a great opportunity to embrace their creativity and they came up with some wonderful ideas."

Rachel Way, said: "Banwell Primary School is a wonderful school, and we would like to say a huge thank you to the talented pupils who took part in our competition."

"It was lovely to see all the thought and creativity that had gone into the designs."
