A retirement homes company is to host a series of online talks to keep its residents and their families connected and entertained.
Churchill Retirement Living is hosting the talks for its apartment residents at Mount’s Bay Lodge in Penzance, Perran Lodge in Newquay, Tregolls Lodge in Truro.
Covering a wide range of topics from a History of Chocolate to Behind Big Ben, the entertaining and educational online talks will be delivered by mirthy.co.uk and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own sofa with the simple click of a button.
The talks also feature a live chat facility so attendees can interact with each other by typing messages, and taking part in a live questions and answers with the speaker at the end of the talk.
Churchill’s regional marketing manager Caroline Haswell said: “We know that many of our apartment owners have been missing the regular social events that form a key part of the Churchill lifestyle, and there are many other people out there still stuck at home for the time being.
“These free online talks will give local people a chance to connect and enjoy learning about a wide variety of topics, all from the comfort of their own living room.”
