A Rotary Charity Golf Day event later this year will take place to raise money for Prostaid, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People, and other charities supported by a local rotary group.
The event, organised by the Rotary Club of Loughborough Beacon, will be held at Longcliffe Golf Club in Loughborough, Leicestershire, on Monday, June 13.
One of the charities that will be supported by the event is Prostaid, which was founded in 2006.
The charity, based in Wigston, Leicestershire, provides information and counselling for people with prostate cancer, and their families.
Funds will also be used to support the Rainbow Hospice in Loughborough - the only hospice for children and young people in the East Midlands.
Rainbow Hospice provides care for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as support for their families.
There is space for a maximum field of 25 teams during the event, and early entry is advised.
Entry is £190 for a team of four, or £47.50 for an individual entry and the fee includes the golf competition, halfway house, prizes, raffle, dinner and auction.
