Rotary members saddle up for horse-riding charity event
The annual ride is back on, after last year's cancellation
Ashbourne Rotary Club members say they are looking forward to staging their popular annual charity horse ride again this year, after last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The fund-raiser, which sees riders covering approximately 10 miles of Carsington and Brassington scenery, across open fields, will take place on Sunday, August 8.
Beginning at Owslow Farm, on the B5035, the ride is organised and stewarded by the Rotary Club’s Ashbourne members, who ensure riders do not have to operate any gates themselves.
