Emily Jackson House care home in Sevenoaks celebrated Harvest Festival in October this year, supporting The Community Cupboard. This supports the food provision for the village communities of Hartley, Longfield, West Kingsdown and New Ash Green.
General manager of Emily Jackson House Amabele Cheng said, “We love our community and we will always be there to support them whenever we can”.
The residents had great fun and had voluntarily helped to organise the donated food items from the staff before they were delivered to the ‘Community Cupboard’. The residents expressed real excitement and felt truly honoured to support their great cause.
