People from Leek and across the Staffordshire Moorlands have been urged to support local businesses in the final shopping days in the run up to Christmas.
Totally Locally Leek launched its renowned festive fandango 2020 offer a few weeks ago in time for Christmas.
And on Wednesday, December 16, late night shopping is to take place in the town.
Independent businesses across the town have come together and are urging shoppers to support them even more than usual this year.
To show their appreciation, all shoppers who spend £5 or more in any participating business will be entered into one of a series of weekly prize draws to win a £25 Totally Locally gift voucher.
They’re also giving away two hampers full of local goodies at the end of December.
Sarah Paterson-White, of The Alphabet Store, said: “The Festive Fandango is a brilliant way to encourage the people of Leek and surrounding areas to buy local this Christmas.
“The coronavirus pandemic has affected so many businesses and now more than ever, independent firms here in Leek need local people’s support.
“We’re very grateful for Leek United Building Society’s support on this year’s campaign.
“We are giving away a series of gift vouchers with the chance for two people to also win a local goods hamper.
“People can enter as many times as they like, so the more they shop locally, the more chances they get to win.”
Andrew Healy, chief executive at Leek United Building Society, said: “Local businesses need our support more than ever this year.
“In Leek United, we’re proud to support Totally Locally Leek’s campaign, which we hope will encourage everyone to shop locally this Christmas.”
The offer runs until December 19, and is available for in-store and online purchases following the recent launch of their new online shop.
