A Southport care home celebrated Valentine's Day with flowers, cards and sweets for the residents.

Residents at Sutton Grange in Banks, Southport created heart-shaped decorations to decorate the home and gifting each other and staff members with hand made cards to fill the day with love.

General Manager, Benn Mott, said: “It’s been a very different Valentine’s Day but we’ve all had a lovely day nonetheless. Lots of our residents were able to see their loved ones using our Ipads for video calls.

"We’ve had a whole range of treats and Valentine’s themed fun and we have enjoyed every moment of it!”

The varied life enrichment programme that Sutton Grange runs keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
