Springhill Hospice ‘delighted’ to reopen Whitworth shop
The shop, which sells clothes, toys and accessories is located at 543 Market St, had been closed for a period of time but welcomed customers back on January 25
Springhill Hospice have said they are ‘delighted’ to be able to reopen their charity shop in Whitworth.
The shop, which sells clothes, toys and accessories is located at 543 Market St, had been closed for a period of time but welcomed customers back on January 25.
It is now open Tuesday to Friday 9am-4pm and is also welcoming donations of good quality items to be sold in the shop to raise money for the hospice.
Brian Brady, retail development manager at Springhill Hospice said there were ‘plenty of bargains to be had’.
He said: “We are delighted to have reopened the Whitworth shop last week. I’d like to thank all our customers and supporters for such a lovely welcome on opening day.
“It was great to see so many back shopping with us!”
As well as welcoming donations of items the hospice say they are also on the lookout for new and returning volunteers to help the team running the shop day-to-day.
