St David’s Hospice is a local charity providing hospice care to adult patients across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey, North Wales.

We support people who are affected by life-limiting illnesses, providing dignified end-of-life care in a warm and caring environment. All of our services are free of charge to all patients and family members based upon the individual’s need.

How to access our care

Referrals are generally made by a GP, palliative care team or district nurse. For further information please call the Hospice on 01492 879058.

Pre-book your drop off at your local Donation Centre

St David’s Hospice has a network of 22 shops across North West Wales, selling good quality second-hand clothing, pre-loved items and furniture providing a vital source of income for our charity. This is thanks to the continued support of the community and the quality of items we receive.

To ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and supporters, a booking system continues to be in place for you to donate your saleable goods and collectables.

Head of Retail Carol Morley explains: “Our four Donation Centres in Mochdre, Llandudno, Gaerwen and Holyhead operate a covid safe drive-thru system. Please remember you must book before you drop off.

“Unfortunately, under no circumstances can we accept goods without a prior appointment being made. This helps us to manage the drop off safely for all concerned.

“Our website has full details about what items we can and can’t accept as well as the location of each of Donation Centre.”

The St David’s Hospice Donation Centres also provide a FREE furniture collection service. The Hospice will collect furniture including sofas, tables, wardrobes, small electrical items and much more. We just ask the items are in a saleable condition for our shops. For further details please call your local Donation Centre.

Did you know that if you’re a UK taxpayer St David’s Hospice can reclaim 25p on every £1 that you donate at no extra cost to you? A scheme, administered by the Inland Revenue, which allows us to claim 25p for every £1 that you donate. Please ask about gift aid whenever you donate goods to our shops or make a monetary donation!
