Stockport tech firm recognised as one of the country’s top employers
CDL, a tech firm was named as one of the best places to work in the UK for its outstanding people practices, including its response to Covid-19.
A tech firm has been recognised as one of the country’s top employers for the fifth consecutive year.
CDL, a tech firm based on on Kings Reach Road in Stockport, Greater Manchester, was named as one of the best places to work in the UK by The Top Employers Institute.
It was awarded the certificate for its outstanding people practices, including its response to Covid-19.
When the pandemic hit CDL transitioned its 600 person-strong team to remote working.
The firm also introduced a range of wellbeing schemes, virtual social events and remote fundraising activities, which enabled the company to raise vital donations for local charities in need.

The firm’s achievements were recently celebrated at both the Insurance Times Awards and Insurance Post Claims and Fraud Awards 2020.
The Top Employers Institute is the global authority on recognising excellence in people practices and undertakes international research each year to identify leading employers around the world.
Crucial to achieving the certification is the completion of the institute’s rigorous HR best practice survey, which covers topics ranging from talent acquisition and learning to diversity and inclusion.
