Summer fashion and beauty pop-up event comes to Glasgow
A community news update from your area
A summer fashion and beauty pop-up event is coming to Glasgow to raise money for a good cause. At Adelaides on Saturday, August 10, the NSPCC Friends of Glasgow fundraising group is inviting people to join them for a fun day out.
From 10am to 3pm at 209 Bath Street, G2 4HZ, there will be music, local fashion, food, crafts and creative brands, drink and beauty stalls as well as a photo area and prize raffle with some brilliant prizes up for grabs. Funds raised will be used to support vital services provided by the NSPCC including Childline - its free counselling service for children and young people - and its educational programme 'Speak out Stay safe' which helps primary school children understand abuse in an age-appropriate way and lets them know where and how to ask for help.
The funds will also support the NSPCC's Helpline for adults which offers guidance and support on issues affecting children. Whatever it is you're worried about, the charity's team of dedicated child protection specialists will be able to advise and take any necessary action.
Event tickets cost £10. Some stalls and private spaces to rent are still available but spaces are limited.
