Surrey businesses to benefit from breakfast briefing
SeeAbility, an Epsom based charity, are running a breakfast briefing for Surrey Businesses.
SeeAbility strive for equality within communities, allowing those with sight loss, autism and learning disabilities to participate as equal citizens.
Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility is one of the oldest disability charities in the UK and has pioneered specialist support for over 220 years.
The breakfast briefing will focus on the importance of inclusion, both from a workforce and a consumer perspective. The aim is for locals to learn how a diverse workforce can enable their business to become more innovative.
Surrey businesses alone could be losing approximately £2billion a month by not considering the needs of disabled people.
The briefing will see Sumaira Latif, Procter and Gamble's Company Accessibility Leader, speak alongside Scott Watkin BEM, who was named as one of the most influential disabled people in the UK in 2019.
The event will take place April 22. If you own a business and would like to attend contact Debbie Goddard, Senior Philanthropy Manager at D.Goddard@seeability.org or 01372 755015.
