Sweet Ayrshire Staffordshire bull terrier ready to find new family
Oscar is at his happiest when he’s in the company of people
A cuddly Staffordshire bull terrier is looking for a new home.
Oscar is a lovable boy who enjoys nothing more than spending time with his favourite humans.
The Scottish SPCA, who are currently caring for Oscar at their Ayrshire rescue and rehoming centre, describe the five-year-old as a “complete cuddle bug”, who would be perfect for someone who is home most of the time and wants a constant and doting canine companion to keep them company.
A Scottish SPCA spokesperson said: “He would prefer a quiet home where he can chill out and potter about in the garden whenever he likes.
“He walks well on his lead and enjoys going on jaunts with other dogs, but the Society thinks it would be best for Oscar to be the only pet in his new home – this will allow him to soak up all the love and attention for himself!
“Oscar has required medical treatment while in the Society’s care and any new owners should be aware that he may have some exclusion from future pet insurance policies.”
