Take to the skies for hospice care

Challenge yourself with an exhilarating skydive and support Phyllis Tuckwell’s vital hospice care. Phyllis Tuckwell provides free care for patients with advanced or terminal illnesses, relying on donations to cover 80% of its funds.

By participating in one of their skydive days, you can raise money to help patients like Don and support their families. With your help, more individuals can experience compassionate care at home during challenging times.

Phyllis Tuckwell's skydive days, run by the Army Parachute Association, take place at the UK’s largest skydiving drop zone in Netheravon, Wiltshire. After thorough training, you'll tandem jump with an experienced instructor at 12,000 feet, freefalling for approximately 7,000 feet at speeds exceeding 120mph. Your minimum sponsorship of £450, alongside a £50 registration fee, directly contributes to funding Hospice Care at Home nurses, ensuring crucial support for over three days.

Fiona Chapman, Phyllis Tuckwell's events fundraiser, said: “Taking on a challenge like our skydive is such an amazing thing to do, and it really makes a difference. Every penny that you raise in sponsorship will go directly to helping patients and their loved ones, who really need our care at such a difficult time.”

Phyllis Tuckwell is organising three skydive days this year on March 23, June 1, and September 28. To sign up or get more information, visit www.pth.org.uk/events or contact the fundraising team at 01252 729446 or fundraising@pth.org.uk.
