Talented duo to appear at latest Phoenix Folk Club night of music
On the night Davie Hunter and Beatrice Clark will take centre stage.
Phoenix Folk Club is to host another night of music at The Market Inn, Ayr, South Ayrshire, on Tuesday, July 4.
On the night Davie Hunter and Beatrice Clark will take centre stage.
Davie Hunter MBE, is a vocalist, an award-winning guitar player, mandola player and a Burns enthusiast.
He’s also an ‘ex-jannie’ and won an MBE for devoted services to the Girvan community and schoolchildren.
He is also recognised for launching and developing Burns’ Bairns Group at Girvan Academy.
Davie’s a stalwart and long standing member of Girvan Folk Club.
Beatrice Clark plays piano, guitar, organ and flute.
She performs her ‘Dolly Parton’ and ‘Shania’ acts all over Scotland.
Beatrice also works in schools, in care homes with dementia sufferers- and entertains them.
The duo are set to come on at 7.30pm on the night.
Doors open 7pm, pay at the door £9.
