Terry Driscoll has just over a month to raise £58,000 to help produce a promotional film, with the ambition of it becoming a documentary. The production will be dedicated to the life and work of Simson Uri-Khob, CEO of the Save The Rhino Trust Namibia. It will show his journey from growing up in a village in Damaraland in Northern Namibia, to gaining a MSc from the University of Kent, and becoming CEO of Save the Rhino Trust Namibia. He is a globally respected conservationist and wildlife advocate and this project will showcase the work he has done, and is continuing to do for Rhino conservation.

Terry Driscoll says; “The time has come to promote a wildlife hero that has devoted his life to saving the last truly wild black rhinos in his home land of Namibia. I have been interested in Rhino conservation in Africa for many years and have always returned feeling like I wanted to inspire others to do the same. This project is aimed at shining a light on the reality of the problems, and motivating people to dedicate their time to help the wonderful charities already doing fantastic work. It’s a big goal, but I’m confident that Simson’s story will inspire enough people for it to succeed.”

The project is aiming to raise £58,000 in order to make a promotional film that can then be used to gain funding from wildlife film commissioners. Terry will be working alongside Mike Birkhead, who has worked on a number of Sir David Attenborough documentaries for the BBC as well as the
famous series of films about Echo the Elephant.
