The CARF (Covid Additional Relief Fund), to help those businesses that were adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, but ineligible for existing Business Rates Relief such as Retail Relief and Nursery Relief, is still open for applications until Thursday, September 15.
If a business was liable to pay business rates for the year 2021-22 and hasn’t received any Retail or Nursery relief, then they may be able to apply now for CARF even if they have already paid business rates for 2021-22, they can still apply.
If you have any questions with regard to the CARF, contact the business rates team direct by emailing: business.rates@hertspartnership-ala.gov.uk or calling: 01279 655261 (ext: 7223).
Further information, including the application form, is available via the East Herts District Council website: here.
