Tilehurst school ready to welcoming Santa to Christmas Bazaar
Tilehurst School are looking forward to welcoming Santa at Christmas Bazaar
The students of Park Lane Primary School in Tilehurst, Berkshire are counting down the days to its annual festive bazaar.
The Glee Club will perform at the event in Park Lane from 3.45pm on Friday. December 8.
Now in its 24th year, the Park Lane Christmas Bazaar has always been a popular addition to Tilehurst Village’s festive calendar – attracting members of the local community as well as students, parents and friends of the school.
Event organisers hope this year will be no exception, having lined up lots of different stalls, from toys and games to the teddy tombola and feel-good festive renditions from the choir.
The bazaar will even feature a present wrapping room, where children can buy and wrap bargain presents for their grown-ups in secret.
Father Christmas’ grotto is, as always, the bazaar’s star attraction – decked out in festive wonder and piled high with presents for children of all ages.
Talking about the school’s special guest, head teacher Nicola Browne said: "Of course, we’re delighted to welcome Father Christmas to the bazaar – which promises to be a brilliant evening out for everyone!
"It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to come together with the local community and showcase the very best of our school.
"The children look forward to it every year and it’s obviously a great chance for us to raise vital funds to enrich our students’ learning and development."
