Totnes police step in to help wayward goose
They were unable to catch the hapless goose so helped it on to a grassy patch to recover
A goose that mistook a police station car park for a pond was helped to safety by a police officer in Totnes.
Sgt Rob Wilson shared news of his adventure on social media.
He said he had been unable to catch the hapless goose, but had helped it on to a grassy patch to feed and recover.
He wrote: “Geese and swans sometimes mistake damp Tarmac for a body of water and end up doing themselves a mischief on landing.”
