Tree-mendous effort by school children and their festive green gifts
A local garden centre has helped primary school children take part in a green scheme
Children at Clifton Primary School have spent the final few days of their term planting Christmas trees.
The trees were donated by Clifton-based Fairways Garden Centre and the project was carried out as part of BBC Countryfile's Plant Britain campaign.
The national two-year project aims to see 750,000 trees planted – one for every UK primary school starter in 2020.
