The nursing home, in High Thorneyflat Wynd, joined care homes across the country as they all opened their doors to the public as part of Care Home Week.
The Open Day, held on Friday, June 30, is an event that is held nationwide during the last week in June for all care homes and organisations to invite people into their homes.
Janice Dalziel is one of the wellbeing co-ordinators at Claremont Care home in Ayr.
She said: “Most care homes have different events throughout the week with the Open Day on Friday.
“The event is for people to come and see round your home and see what goes on in it.
“We had Peter Hunter, from South Ayrshire Thriving communities team join us to provide support and advice if there are issues in your local community.
“And we also had entertainer Martin Liske that the residents enjoyed listening to and joining in with the music.

“When Martin finished, we had afternoon tea.”
Before the Open Day on the Friday, Ayr MSP Siobhian Brown visited the home earlier in the week and she chatted to residents and visited two of the units.
Janice said: “Residents and staff had a photo taken with Siobhian and we had musical bingo going on at the same time, as well as our fortnightly visit from Pet Therapy Border Collie Luca, who brings pleasure to lots of our residents and staff alike.”
Ms Brown added: “Thank you to manager Catherine Potts for showing me around and telling me about all of the great work that is going on at the home for residents.”
On Tuesday, June 27, the home also staged a coffee morning, with a visit from a member of the (RCN) Royal College of Nursing.
