Vehicle overturns on Cheddleton to Ipstones country road

Three people were assessed by paramedics after a vehicle overturned on a country road last week.

Emergency crews from the ambulance and police service were called to the incident on the Cheddleton to Ipstones road early last Tuesday evening (August 10).

A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said: “Police were called at 5.30pm on Tuesday, August 10 to a report of a road traffic collision on Basford Green Road in Cheddleton, Staffordshire. A vehicle had overturned.

"Colleagues from the ambulance service attended, but no serious injuries were reported. The vehicle was recovered.”

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.35pm on Tuesday, August 10 to reports of a single vehicle rollover on Belmont Road, Ipstones, Stoke-on-Trent.

"We sent one ambulance and two paramedic officers to the scene. We assessed three patients who were all discharged at the scene.”
