Camellia House in Ware, Hertfordshire marked the Queen’s 95th birthday on Wednesday, April 21 in style by brewing up a storm for National Tea Day and having an afternoon tea party.

Head chef, Trudy Presland whipped up a tasty selection of freshly-baked biscuits, pastries and cakes for the occasion, all washed down with a selection of different teas.

Judith, general manager at Camellia House said: “Our residents love nothing more than a good cuppa.

"They all really enjoyed the choice of different teas, cakes and events for National Tea Day, and, as a nation who truly loves their tea, it was great excuse for an afternoon brew and a natter.
"It was also a lovely way to say thank you to our longest reigning -monarch.”

Enid, resident at Camellia House said: “The Queen is an amazing lady who has been through so much lately so it was a wonderful way to remember her and pay our respects.”
