Warning over spate of letterbox burglaries in Caversham
Police are advising people to ensure all their doors and windows are kept locked and that car keys are kept somewhere safe overnight.
People living in the Caversham, Berkshire, area are warned to double lock their doors and hide their car keys after a spate of burglaries.
Between Tuesday, October 24, and Wednesday, October 25, thieves were able to get into homes in the area by reaching through the letter box and opening the door from the inside.
This has led to a number of items being stolen, some of which have been found dumped nearby.
Police are advising people to ensure all their doors and windows are kept locked and that car keys are kept somewhere safe overnight.
