QUAYSIDE INN: This old picture depicts what is now the Ship Inn in Red Wharf Bay. It looks as if it was still a terrace of separate dwellings when this picture was taken, before the inn took over the whole row
SCHOOLDAYS: A primary school class in what seems to be Neuadd Goronwy Owen, the village hall
VICTORIAN HOSTELRY: The Glanrafon Hotel during its heyday. It is first mentioned in 1861 as a public house, and by 1891 had acquired the name of Glanrafon Hotel
VILLAGE EMPORIUM: The shop in Tynygongl (now called Paradise Court). This was before the extension was built on the left
BEACH HOTEL: The Min y Don Hotel in Red Wharf Bay, in the early 1900s

TOUCH OF CLASS: Pupils at Ysgol Goronwy Owen in the early 1970s
DOMESTIC MATTERS: A float at the Benllech carnival in the early 1980s, with a housework theme
EXTENDED PREMISES: A more recent picture of the shop in Tynygongl, with the extension on the left. Despite the rather misleading words on the postcard, this is definitely Tynygongl, not Red Wharf Bay
