Weybridge solicitor named judge for prestigious international awards

Jade Gani has herself been declared Young Practitioner of the Year

Jade Gani, head of private client at a solicitors in Weybridge, Surrey, has been announced as a presiding judge at an annual awards recognising some of the world's leading experts in the legal private client field.

The Society of Trusts & Estate Practitioners (STEP) Private Client Awards 2022 recognise some of the world’s leading experts in the Private Client field, which includes advisors of Wills, probate, care plans, estate planning and many more key areas of the legal and financial profession.

Through recognising and celebrating excellence in Private Client practice, the STEP Private Client Awards play an important role in supporting STEP’s mission to inspire confidence in families planning their assets across generations.

Jade, who works at Meadows Ryan, is highly respected in her field and was herself declared Young Practitioner of the Year at the global STEP Private Client Awards 2021. She is one of only two UK judges selected for these awards this year.

She understands STEP’s vital role within her industry and its upholding of the highest standards amongst its members that align with its core values – Community, Collaboration, Integrity and Continuous Learning.

Speaking about her appointment as a judge at the awards, Jade said: “STEP is globally recognised as setting the gold standard for those advising families across generations, and it is a real honour to be asked to join their panel of esteemed judges.

“I am looking forward to seeing what the best and the brightest in the industry have been up to over the past year, in their drive for excellence and best practice.”

A relatively new addition to the Meadows Ryan team in Weybridge, Jade is committed to developing and enhancing the firm’s Private Client offering.

As well as winning a STEP Award last year, she has also won other top industry awards and is the Founder & Director of The Wishing Will Foundation – a charity dedicated to raising as much money as possible to support end-of-life, palliative care and respite hospices in the Thames Valley area.
