Join members of the Phil for their summer concert at St Aidan’s on St Oswalds Road to hear a mixture of well-known and lesser-known pieces.
You will hear Vivaldi’s Gloria, Bach’s Cantata 147, which includes the famous ‘Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring’ and Dixit Dominus, by Isabella Leonarda.
She's a little-known Italian composer who spent her life in a convent and had composed 200 works by the time she was 80!
